POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Pipe Welder with at least 3 months of tig/CuNi (Copper Nickel) pipe welding experience. The candidate will prepare and weld pipe and fittings for various material types as specified by construction drawings and technical guidance documents.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 months of tig/flux pipe welding experience
- Pass a hands-on tig (heli-arc) pipe welding test on CuNi pipe in a 6G position on 2” pipe with 3/32” wall thickness using a gas purge with 1/8” root opening with all uphill weld progression
SKILLS
- Proficiency in Tig and CuNi welding techniques
- Strong understanding of welding procedures and best practices
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and weld pipe and fittings for various material types according to construction drawings and technical guidance documents
- Ensure high-quality welds that meet industry standards and specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
