POSITION OVERVIEW 

We are seeking a dedicated Marine Electrician with at least 5 years of marine electrician experience. The candidate will install and repair wiring, fixtures, and equipment for all electrical services aboard vessels and in the shipyard.

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Minimum of 5 years of marine electrician experience
  • Good working knowledge of electrical systems operations
  • Familiar with all aspects of craft-specific marine outfitting activities, from design through final shipboard installation
  • Familiar with applicable commercial and military specifications and standards

SKILLS 

  • Excellent understanding of marine electrical systems and components
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a marine environment
  • Able to read and interpret standard construction drawings and specifications

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Install and repair wiring, fixtures, and equipment for electrical services on vessels and in the shipyard
  • Read and interpret standard construction drawings and specifications
  • Utilize job-related tools, gauges, meters, and other equipment to ensure systems are operating correctly
